When our 2007 Escape 4cyl AC is turned on and in drive but the car comes to a stop, a loud clanking noise emits form the engine. This does not happen when the car is in park. I have looked, but cannot tell where the noise is originating from. Maybe the clutch, the belt, or under the manifold heat shield. Any insight is appreciated.
