i have a 2007 ford escape with the duratec engine it has 104,000 kms on it.My problem is it lowers oil with in 150 kms about a litre, i have done a compression check all cylinders are 170,have replaced the pcv valve, the plugs are nicely taned no oil reisado, but when you remove the oil cap with engine running has lots of blow by comming out of oil cap, i have heard that was common on these engines, dose anyone have a posiblity where the oil is going i am stumped, also when you do a fresh oil change oil is black with in 200kms
