I pushed the max ac button to turn it off while going 65 on the freeway and the truck died. The wrench light and the engine light came on and I shifted into neutral and coasted off the freeway. When I turned the ignition switch to start it would act like it was out of gas. It would run for a few seconds then die. I turned the fan switch off and it started up. Both lights still on. It ran a little rough for the appx. 2 miles to my house where I parked it. A couple of hours later I went out making sure that the ac and fan was off and it has been running fine for 3 days since this happened. Mechanics what do you think? Oh no warning or trouble lights are on either now.

I have a problem with reverse on my 2011 Escape. It goes into gear then locks up and won't move. If I move the shifter slowly to just the right spot it will move and then hang up again. After it is hot I can shift into reverse and it will work fine as long as I am on flat ground. Any suggestions.

My 2011 Escape has the same rust problems in the wheel wells and seams. It also died doing 65 on the freeway when I turned the ac off. As soon as I pushed the button it turned off and the wrench and engine lights came on.
