Csmulli Report post Posted August 30, 2016 01 Ford escape 3.0 200k miles daily driver in 3 years I have had to replace all spark pluges and coils pcv 2 egr valves roded out the cats cleaned the mass air. But currently I am having a bad cold idle after it heats up runs idles good but when in a bind such as going up hill jerks and sputers but if I turn off over drive runs OK codes off obd2 miss fire on 2&4 and the o2 past the back cat has an error Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Csmulli Report post Posted September 3, 2016 Thank you for the welcome I would also like to ask if any one out there has had any repeating trany problem such as with mine every 36k my trans well start shifting hard going into overdrive I simply flushed the trans and it was good but after another 36k it happened again and working as a manager at a oil change shop I saw a lot of the escapes from 01 to the 2012 have the same problem Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I have replaced 6 coils plugs checked vaccum lines replaced the AIC valve TPS new cleaned MAF replaced altanator and checked cat.s not pluged i still have miss fire cylinder 1 but only at idle and any wear from 1000 rpm to 2000rpm missfire.
