Lizard001977 Report post Posted June 18, 2017 I swapped a 2005 ford escape engine into a 2004 ford escape body. Everything works except for the alternator. The 2005 alternator is a 3 wire but the 2004 only has 2 wires. Could someone please tell me what the difference is or where the extra wire needs to be run? Or a better way to hook it up?
