danalex Report post Posted July 24, 2017 2005 Escape, Auto; 3.0; 160K miles When accelerating approaching 50mph, I have a slight 'hesitation' burp. Sometimes does it again near 60mph. Only seems to happen during acceleration; doesn't do it at steady speeds whether around town or at highway speed. My shop mechanic ran BG engine cleaner thru it (made only slight difference). Considering attempting the following maintenance but would rather get the correct diagnosis... --Fuel filter (a little over a hear old) --Spark plugs (near two years old) --COPs (coil over plugs)(over two years old) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
