Escape2018 Report post Posted April 22, 2021 (edited) Anyone have brake issues? My 2018 escape titanium has <39,000km and the rear brakes are gone less then 1mm, fronts just need machining.... this really seems too quick was told it was because it was only used for short trips... which is bs we drove this vehicle more than we did our last one and I don’t think we replaced complete rear brakes until at least 80,000km. Watcher Report post Posted December 25, 2021 (edited) Traction control and ESF can cause them to wear faster. Don't know where you are located but sliding around on snow/ice can do a number on these guys ..as well as any vehicle with these features. Had an Infinity G35 years ago and it would wear the rear brakes more as it was designed to keep the car more level on stops by doing so. You should not be wearing out that quickly.
