    My wife’s 2014 just experienced total transmission failure at 89,000 miles. Dealership diagnosed and said fluid was black and full of metal particles. They quoted me a price of $5,400 to rebuild. I would like for someone to explain why a Ford transmission lasted only 89,000 miles with passive driving?
