Hi, I have a 2017 2.0 all wheel drive Escape. The towing capacity is 3500 lbs. I am thinking about renting a small camper that would probably not exceed 3000 lbs. total. I would rent it out where we plan on doing our camping so I wouldn't be putting many miles on it, maybe 500 or so over 5 days or more. Is there anything I should know about this idea? I don't want to damage anything but if I keep it below the capacity it should be okay, right? thanks for any help.
