    I am looking for information about how to remove the lower plastic door trim/splash protector/door guard from the front passenger side door. Does it slide off or pop off. In either case does anyone know how to do this without damaging the panel so that I can put it back on another door that I bought at a salvage yard to replace the damaged door currently on the vehicle. the salvage yard door did not have the trim on it when I purchased it.

    Just picked up a nice little 06 Escape with 55K miles. All good but the door chimes goes on whenever you open the door to get in or get out....without the key in the ignition. Anyone heard of this issue and/or have a solution. Very annoying....that's all. Other than that it runs great!
