  1. Hey everyone, I just finished installing a remanufactured alternator in my wife's 2005 Ford Escspe. I pulled the passanger side drive shaft and intermediate shaft to make the repair and some oill leaked out of what appears to be the transmission. I am new to the Ford Escape platform and google has not been very helpful. My question is this; on this vehicle what do the front intermediate shafts connect to? The trans or a gearbox? I just want to make sure I refill the missing fluid before she starts driving it again. 05 Escape, 2WD, automatic, V6 3.0L. TIA! SubNetZero
