Before your Escape Ecoboost, what did you have and why did you get an Escape Ecboost?

Let's see if we have anything in common :)

I traded my 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT. Someone will buy my well maintained Sport Trac and become a Ford fan like myself.

2001 Toyota Rav4 5-speed manual. Still have it @ 205,000 miles on it, All original including the clutch. Would have bought another manual but the CX-5 and VW don't come with any option packages. Subaru manuals actually come pretty loaded. But my wife said "you don't look like a Subaru person" whatever that means.

Of course foreign markets can get manuals, first time in my life I have driven a non-manual.

Wow - I am surprised with the wide variety of people coming from different brands to the Escape EB.

Welcome all to the Ford family :)

Honda CRV. I still have it right not, but that's what I will be trading in if I do go with the Escape.

2005.5 VW Jetta 2.5... Did so much work to that car and miss it. Unique exhaust note from the 5 cylinder especially after all that I did... :-/ loved it but moving on.

Had a Ford Focus, but needed something bigger. Could've gone with the Fusion, but wanted an SUV. Very happy with my Escape.

Had been a MOpar fan forever, since my dad was a Mopar mechanic, but when they took the bailout money & then closed our plant in STL & spent the money in Mexico I went to Ford. First with my SHO now the Escape. My wife had a Dodge Minivan, me a Dodge Stratus R/T, which really was a Mitsubitsi 3000 underneath.

We had a 2007 Subaru Impreza, the wagon version. A great car with a great awd system.

Agter 2 weeks I love my 2014 Escape 1.6 Ecotech. Made the change because I just did not want to drive a Subie for another 8 - 10 years.

Nothing at all against Subaru, I've never buy the same brand twice in a row. Too many nice cars out there.

2nd car is a 1990 Mazda MX5. Great, fun car, but not much use in the snow, IMHO
