Kenny Kant Report post Posted October 19, 2014 I am trying to locate how "keep alive" power is provided to my 2004 Escape. For some reason this keep alive power has been purposely disabled so when the car key is turned off the entire system goes dark. Alarms wont, arm, radios turn back to default settings...everything... Is there a simple fuse to check??

Is there a simple fuse to check?? Are you still around? Did you ever figure this one out? Sounds like i may have something similar going on with my new-to-me 04. Power locks only work with the key on, making the remote useless. Radio and OBDII port have no power. Overhead interior lights are all dead. Lighter works with the key on. Power port works all the time.
