General Electric Module (GEM)

Recommended Posts

I have a 2007 Ford Escape. The A/C will not turn on. I have replaced everything associated with the A/C. Relays, pressure switches, compressor, and recharged the system. The compressor works because I tested it. My question is. If the (GEM) module is to blame, can I do a work-around with a kill switch. In other words. At the point of the A/C relay where the signal comes in from the interior compartment on switch. Is it possible to replace the wire with a ground wire that is controlled with a toggle cut-off switch. I do want all the pressure switches to still work. Anyone know if this will work?
