Tried out the cerakote headlight restorer. I modified the instructions by starting with some 1000 grit sandpaper that isn't in the kit and then followed the instructions. Came out looking really clear. Hope it holds up. Would have been happy replacing the headlights but didn't want to have to pull off the front bumper/grill to get to the headlight retaining screws. Now I'm looking at what LEDs to put in there.

How to change fob to unlock all doors with one press? 2004

I had a previous 2004, and somehow I had changed it so it will unlock all doors with one button press instead of 2. I have another 2004 now, and can not for the life of me remember how I changed the unlock setting on the old one. Internet searching has turned up nothing. Holding lock + unlock on the fob for 3 secs doesn't change it. Entering program mode by key on/off 8 times only programs the fobs to the car, doesn't change the unlock setting. Can I do it in Forscan? Can not find tables for where I would change it in the as-builts, and it is not an option in the modules otherwise. Any ideas? -

You are totally right, often tutorials complicate things when in practice it can be done more simply with the right reflexes. Your method is logical and effective, especially with your experience.

Battery saver mode on non-plug in hybrid 2024 Titanium

I had a similar problem after a jump start, and it was indeed the 12V battery that had taken a hit. It recharged badly despite the driving. I replaced it and everything is back in order, no more economy model
